I’m transfixed by Nica Harrison’s animated drawings. Most of these are from a short film Harrison is making called “Illusions.” You can see second-long glimpses of the story on the artist’s blog, along with some fantastic sketchbook photos. Each frame is hand drawn, then screen printed and composed into a moving image by Harrison. It’s an incredible project to accomplish on your own! The sneak peaks she posts in the form of gifs are fascinating enough in their hypnotic loops of movement. I’m excited to see how the final product turns out!
