If you’ve ever heard the saying good things come in small packages, Dario Anza‘s artwork is a testament to its truth. Dario is an artist based in Italy who creates tiny drawings with subject matter ranging from a skeleton sitting on the moon to mountain ranges inside mason jars, and really anything else you could imagine. The majority of his work is monochromatic, pen and ink line work and could be described as minimalistic in a sense, which really allows for the subject matter to shine! And when we say the artwork is small – we mean it. If it weren’t for the photographs of his work with a pen included in the image for size comparison, we would have no idea how truly tiny these artworks are. It makes the level of detail and precision of his linework that much more impressive when you realize some of these artworks may be the size of a quarter.

Some of our favorites are this cup of coffee with a cityscape inside of it, a custom take on yin and yang, and for fun, this tiny mouse doing a ski run. Beyond just being someone who creates cool art for the world to view, he’s also available for tattoo design, logo design, and custom illustrations. Scrolling through his Instagram is a fun way to see the different commissions he’s already done, and we couldn’t stop imagining these tiny artworks as permanent fixtures on someone’s arm or leg! You can see his full portfolio here, follow him on Instagram here, and contact him here for any commission inquiries.
