I always get a thrill from art that abandons the idea of neatness. Lili Korcsok is an animator from Budapest who does things her own way. She’s not concerned with having straight lines, or perfect shading, when she takes her markers and pencils to paper. One of my favorite things about her sketchy style is the way it warps proportions casually, the way you might see them in a dream. Korcsok draws freely, loosely, to create drawings that are visually interesting and a little bizarre—in the best way.
