Chromatic Anime-Inspired Sketches: Student Edition | Doodlers Anonymous

Natalie Baron is an illustration student at RISD, expected to graduate in 2020. When I first discovered her sketchbook, "student" was definitely not the word that came to mind. She uploaded her sketchbook in its entirety to Behance, and it's absolutely glorious. Using Posca pens, Molotow markers, colored pencils, and ink she creates spread after spread filled to the brim with colorful detailed sketches. Dare I say that I prefer the sketchy doodled chaos over a more refined, digital character? There's just something about her sketchbook that excites my inner doodle addict, and I picked out a few of my favorite spreads below. Keep in mind, there were well over 70 spreads and it wasn't easy to pick only a few so if you enjoy her work you've got to check out the full project!
