Miri Orenstein is an illustrator/ceramist based in Manhattan who’s found a way to beautifully combine all of her skills. After taking pottery lessons, Miri fell in love with the process and began making small batch ceramics that allowed her to join all of her favorite things: illustration, ceramics, design, and photography. I’m obsessed with the simple black and white, hand-drawn feel that all of her drawings incorporate. She refers to her hand-drawn characters as ‘her women’, each with their own unique personality and characteristics. If you enjoy her work as much as I do, you’ll love her newly-launched website where you can find her one-of-a-kind pottery and art prints for sale!
