Anna Aniskina kills the sketchbook game with her intricate floral patterns that include all things mother nature, big or small. I enjoy the experimentation with the scale of certain objects like the oversized insects on a few of the pages. The way she overlaps different elements creates quite the visual experience, especially when cutting and pasting drawings on top of a buzzing background. Another nice spin is her use of typography woven into the busy compositions. Take a moment to scroll through the pages of her sketchbook, or should I say, stop and smell the roses!
