Folklore is one of my favorite subjects to read about, so it’s always exciting for me to stumble across myths I haven’t heard of yet. “The world filled with wonders” by Lina Kusaite introduced me to figures and legends from Lithuanian mythology, a culture I’d never read about before finding these art pieces. Kusaite’s art goes beyond doodling, into a more serious, narrative style… But this hand-drawn magic is too good to keep to myself. According to the artist, she completed thirty nine drawings for this series in only three months! You have to be impressed by the creative frenzy it takes to complete so many high calibre pieces in such a short amount of time.
