Through his beautifully-executed point of view sketches, Thomas Cian takes us on the road with him. We step into his skin, with the sketchbook resting on our lap and pencil in hand, and visit a classroom, a café, or a car with intimacy and familiarity. We have entered his personal space and it is welcoming and warm. And somehow the sketchbook – as center point – seems to create the scene instead of merely recording it.
