Nap time!

Nap time! | Doodlers Anonymous

Today I had a dream I was eating sushi with my very best buddy (who ran away to live in England) and then woke up to a voicemail she'd left about being back home for a surprise visit. How spooky is that!

Ok, so eating sushi is kind of a lame way to spend my time in slumber land. But that's why I'm also here to share the much wilder dreams of heliana. Her blog is down, so I can only assume that these hilarious, often tripped-out scribbles are under the set 'dreams journal' because they are collections of actual post-slumber documenting.

I love the idea of jotting down dreams. Having a pen ready by the bed for early morning, semi-drowsy doodling. The creatures I see on the back of my eyelids get up to some pretty random shenanigans! I bet yours do too. Check out her Flickr set and zoom in close for all the surprising details. Then we should all go have a nap. It's 'creative research', alright.

We all enjoy a bit of a doodle! That's why we're here. Or maybe you got lost and were searching for a whole other kind of doodle... uh oh. Anyway, hello! My name's Lisa. I'm author of The Scribble Diary, a doodling book to inspire self-reflection. Also my new book is ME, YOU, US to fill out with your friends! Come find me on instagram @scribblediary

  1. I want to visit her dreams. They are filled with such drama and deep erotica. Good night, see you soon.

  2. ...wouldn't it be nice to dream? i never do, unfortunately. my only idea now is to somehow drill into her head and insert a tiny camera, then sit back. (some doodles on my blog)

  3. Amazing. Funny that they\\\'re always naked... I like the panda-bird dream because it sounds like a dream I could usually do.
