I stumbled upon the unique hand-lettering of Kamae in the Hand-Drawn Lettering gallery on DA. I love how she letters on a brown, natural-looking paper, yet still manages to make the colors pop off the page. I love the 3D effect that is achieved–it almost looks like she squeezed out some fresh paint directly onto the paper to create those juicy letters! The beautiful layout and composition of her work proves that Kamae knows what she’s doing, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that I’d love to see more artwork from this artist!
