I love this collection of illustrations by Alexandra Calisto that features objects (or people) that she has drawn using only “a pencil and some blue”. For the most part, they are just everyday scenarios that allow the viewer to appreciate the humor in “what is” – it’s the little things in life after all. Alexandra also features a similar collection on her website called “pinky promises” except instead of blue…the images use pink! I particularly enjoy when artists finds a specific theme that they can continue working on in a way that is fun and engaging for everyone.
