Note to self: Next vacation, you should travel to this restaurant and feast your eyes on this exquisite floor-to-ceiling mural. It’s cool to see an artist’s process, the way their drawing grows and grows out of nothing. Ever since I stumbled upon a timelapse video of Elena Yeo’s mural for 1925 Microbrewery and Restaurant in Singapore, I haven’t been able to stop myself from watching it over and over. It’s hypnotizing to see the small beginnings of paint strokes on a plain white wall rise up and expand into a richly detailed illustration. Four days worth of work are sped up into less than two minutes, so there’s no time wasted if you hit the play button RIGHT NOW. Go go go!
