Everyone has those moments when a suddenly morbid thought hits you out of nowhere. Deep Dark Fears is a series of comics exploring those intimate, personal fears that mostly stem from your imagination getting darkly carried away. Many of these fears were confessed by strangers to the artist, Fran Krause, who is also an animator and cartoonist. It’s equal parts gross and engrossing. I’m fascinated by the kind of person you must be to think of some of these.

Some are gruesome, some are funny, some are gruesomely funny. All of them are imaginative. This is unquestionably my favorite find recently, though you should prepare to cringe if you proceed.
