Lee Kyutae is an illustrator whose colored pencil drawings have a surprisingly soft appearance. I know that I would struggle to create this type of drawing because I’ve got such a heavy hand and these illustrations are so delicate and seemingly require lots of control and patience. Lee’s drawings look so realistic, they could even pass for a photograph at first glance. Interestingly enough, this picturesque effect is not achieved through incorporating a ridiculous amount of detail, rather by implementing a broad spectrum of color. I could literally scroll through her instagram all day long because each piece is so different from the last, but nevertheless extremely impressive!
