Bookmark Doodles
At Doodlers Anonymous we love books. We love the texture, ink, and creases of the printed word — the tactile deliciousness of thumbing, highlighting and devouring pages. We love books that weigh heavy in our hands.
This showcase challenge is a tribute to traditional paper books and the act of reading. The two winners of this challenge (yes, there will be two!) will have their artwork fashioned into DA bookmarks. We challenge you to doodle the front-side of a bookmark, and we'll use the back to promote and credit you.

Submission Guidelines
- There's no specific theme, although keeping it book or reading relevant is encouraged. We're just looking for some delicious art and something you'll be proud of.
- As always, we champion the hand-drawn, but due to the nature of this showcase, we anticipate the use of graphic software to apply the image to our template.
- Feel free to use color.
- To be accepted, all submissions MUST be mocked up on the template provided and uploaded as a JPG image (no larger than 2MB).
- Upload your best, because you only get one submission.
- All participants MUST save the hi-resolution version of their artwork. The winners will be provided with final specifications for the preparation and production of the print.
DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, MAY 30th (11:59pm EST)
Prize
Two winners from Showcase #15 will have their artwork brought to life and printed as 250 bookmarks by our awesome sponsor, PrintRunner.com
Each winner will receive 25 of their own bookmark, full credit and promoted to all fans and friends of DA, plus we plan on giving the remaining bookmarks away to anyone that buys something in our shop. Good luck!

A couple of clarifications and answers:
1) @everyone - web Link refers to any page you want us to link to as part of your credit. Can be your website, can be your twitter, can be your blog. It is entirely up to you. Our recommendation is to use something that will probably live with you regardless of which social network is the hottest at the moment.
2) @Faye - all of the submissions will go live for voting this Wednesday.
