What I like about Sarina Nihei
's doodles is the I feeling that all these people are frozen in the middle of some action. I have no idea what's going on, but it looks interesting and each drawing leaves me kinda craving to see what happened before or what will happen next. This all makes a lot of sense when you find out that Nihei is also an animator
, an explanation for why her doodles look like a single frame plucked from a storyboard. Maybe the lack of context is what makes these odd little moments a lot more fun.
