Doodling for escapism first of all!
Mostly unconscious marks. Often to escape stressful moments.
I've doodled all my life starting at an early age with chalks on the street's pavement drawing japanese anime characters.
It really felt free back then, I could even draw on the walls of my house...
And some great ideas have come out from my 'doodle marshland', which i have developed in a slightly more 'elaborated' illustrations...
