A Sharpie® works well. I also like the PITT brush pen by Faber-Castell. You just have to make sure the ink dries before you erase pencil lines. I also often use a white Prismacolor® pencil or white acrylic paint for highlights.

They rarely reflect the movie I watched, though I know other doodlers often create an image from the film. I just like to let my mind wander.
