September's Guest Contributor:
Lee Crutchley

You know him as the author of Quoteskine, a book of drawn quotes, lyrics and clever word play, and for the month of September you'll know him as our blog's guest contributor.

Lee is an up and coming illustrator in the UK that's tirelessly working to "make it" as a freelancer. He runs an incredibly beloved tumblr blog, but plans to step a bit out of that role this month to post on Doodlers Anonymous about the people and things that inspire him.

You can stalk him on twitter, visit him at leecrutchley.co.uk or simply welcome him to the site in the comments below.

August's Guest Contributor:
Sara E. Barnes

For the month of August we are welcoming fellow blogger and illustrator Sara E. Barnes as a guest contributor here on DA. Sara is the creator and voice behind the wonderfully curated website Brown Paper Bag and is working towards her MFA (Illustration Practice) at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Sara's own work is an amazing mix of color and collage of scraps, ink, paint, and embroidery. I'm fascinated by how the loose pieces of cut paper come together to reveal such a complete and controlled final artwork. I've gathered a few of my favorite works by her here to introduce you.

March's Guest Contributor:
Vincent Griffin

Most days when I post inspiration on Doodlers Anonymous, it's because I discovered an artist doing something so incredibly different than my own style, that I just want to share them with everyone. Other times, I discover an artist whose style is so familiar to me, that I practically connect to each and every one of their drawings.

In this case, it was with Vincent Griffin's work. I've been following his feed on Instagram and quickly realized how often I "like" one of his images. We only exchanged a few emails, but I immediately knew he would be a great fit to guest write for the month of March.

He gladly accepted.

Vincent works in Little Rock, Arkansas as an illustrator and part-times it playing music in two different bands (or music collectives as he called them). He lives on Instagram and posts completed works on Land and Shape. Here are some of my favorites, but I really just wanted to post all of his work.

See You Around

It seems like February is saying good bye to all of us. I really enjoyed so much sharing with you some of my favorites doodles, I hope you enjoyed them too and I hope they were as inspiring for you as they are for me. Instead of a "good bye" I want to say "see you around" cause I will be sharing some other interesting things in the future in this amazing and lovely place. Doodlers Anonymous is definitely one of my favorite sites and I wanna thank them for this amazing opportunity.

Meanwhile you can follow me on twitter (@Muxxi) and Facebook, hope to see you there. Let's keep it doodling!

February's Guest Contributor: Muxxi

We introduced you to Muxxi back in July 2010 as a Guatemalan artist lost in a crazy doodle world. That's still true, only since then she's better defined her style and grown her playing field to include murals, vector illustrations, and awesome collaborations with like-minded artists.

She's also left her mark all over DA, from showcase submissions to participating in practically every drawn giveaway we've ever done. We love her surreal characters and strange worlds and have now welcomed her to contribute to Doodlers Anonymous for the month of February.

She's waving hello, so be sure to wave back and take some time to visit her growing portfolio and online shop of art prints.

June's Guest Contributor: Sretan Bor

One of my favorite things on DA is when we open the doors of our blog to a guest contributor. After a long break from featuring any outside writers, we finally get to welcome one for the month of June.

Many of you might remember him from an entry we posted back in February, titled Heavy Color, where we showed off his colorful ink strokes and credited him by the name of Mario Kolaric. Well, it turns out on the street he's known as Sretan Bor. He's from Zagreb, Croatia and promises to bring some fresh and exclusive content to the pages of Doodlers Anonymous this month.

You can get reacquainted with some of his work below and follow him on flickr, but most importantly welcome him to the site, as his first post will go up this week. Yay for June!

August's Guest Contributor: Tom Hovey

My first experience of Tom Hovey was an interesting one, and that is exactly how I would describe his work, too. Our first few conversations included topics like John Prescott as a father figure, locking artists inside a cupboard, and how he thought I was a man. He is a self-proclaimed ink addict and describes his work as "beautifully, ugly people." We are excited to have him as our new guest contributor for the next month.

Help us welcome the often inappropriate and highly talented Tom Hovey. Get to know him better, in his own words.
