Thomas Hicks won a warp competition to make a music video for Gravenhurst. His subsequent animations are like being sucked into his sketchbook and wandering around his dark and wonderful world. Very refreshing to see some organic, stop motion music videos these days. Check out his videos here »

So I visited the London zine symposium on Sunday. It was immense fun! Thousands of handmade zines and comics and artwork. I loaded up my backpack as fat as it could get. It's like candyland for me... could not have been more excited.

Also recognized a lot of the artwork from random internet blogs so i made a lot of friends there :)

Whenever I need some inspiration, Maxwell Loren Holyoke-Hirsch is not far from my reach... beautifully organic and delicate. When I look through his work I feel like I should be handling it with tweezers.

A mixture of manic depression, unrequited love and that broken old tapedeck collecting dust in your attic, spells out the genius that is Daniel Johnston. His lo-fi beauty is not only evident in his wonderful music, but also in his magic marker super-doodles. Fun and vibrant!
