There is something decidedly disturbing, mongrel, and off-kilter about John Casey’s illustrations. But, like a horror film, you won’t turn away. Rest assured, you will click through the entire series— if only by peeking through webbed-fingers.

More than platform pushing, a campaign is about image and perception. Obama's campaign was innovative, not only in creating a persona of change, but in creating the design identity to advance that persona. So, it's no surprise that the website of Jim Suttle (running for Mayor of Omaha), with its 2D marionette cityscapes is not only beautiful, but effective in marketing the art and eco-friendly bent of this forward-thinking politician.

Jaime’s doodles bring to mind the dreams of jellyfish. They are fluid and softly swept off-center as if lulled by gentle waves and left to dry on sand. Absolutely calming and beautiful.

Jack Teagle is a self-proclaimed nerd who loves kitsch imagery, Kaiju, folk art, pulp horror, and science fiction. Jesus locking the Diablo in a sleeper hold, dead astronaut comics, and kickboxing shark action figures– what’s not to love?

There's an ordered chaos to Maybe's (aka Bernardo Henning's) illustrations -- an overarching and unimposed harmony as the hand-type and doodles crowd, compete and elbow for room. Take time to enjoy the details.
