Tendency of Withdrawal

Micah Lindberg's piece for Artism (Art for Autism) is lovely and haunting. Dense, overarching branches encircle and beset a pensive child. The image captures the challenges of social interaction and withdrawal associated with Autism. Powerful and heartbreaking. (Direct link)

Beautiful Bedlam

There's an ordered chaos to Maybe's (aka Bernardo Henning's) illustrations -- an overarching and unimposed harmony as the hand-type and doodles crowd, compete and elbow for room. Take time to enjoy the details.
