Hello, my name is Jolby,
and I am a doodle addict.
A WEEK WITH JOLBY: DAY 4
Josh had spent most of the day working his magic on the inks I did for the Urban Outfitters poster. The final product looked a little somethin' like this:
We had finished two other posters for Urban earlier in the month. 'Stache' was purchased and should be in stores in December along with 'Mountains Cry Too' some time after. 'Trees Hug Back,' however, didn't make the cut.
We sent the file back and forth finishing the poster throughout the day. Sprinkled throughout the day were these fun doodles. Our friend Shoko lent us her japanese hand writing on one of them.
That night was Josh's wife's birthday, so we all went out to a karaoke/Tiki bar for oddly named drinks and a great time. Being able to get away from the office for a night does wonders for the mind.

Collaborative teams must be able to compliment one another. And who does that better than Josh Kenyon and Colby Nichols? We here at DA love collaborations and are big fans of Jolby. These guys may very well be sharing the same brain - filled with patterns, textures and nonsense.
So how do they do it? For their feature, they agreed to document an entire week of Jolby. Here is an exclusive look at their amazing work, a whole lotta doodles and some moustache humor thrown in just for good measure.
