Girlie Pains

The thing I like most about Mel Stringer's sketchbooks is that they feel like peeking into someone's diary. A diary that's tucked away under a bed with a threatening note doodled on the cover and hearts on the spine. The kind of diary that only your best friend is allowed to look inside, while eating cereal, listening to mix tapes and giving each-other homemade tattoos…
