Ben Aslett

Wonderfully weird, Ben Aslett's illustrations are funny and equally disturbing. They (for reasons unknown) remind of the 'Blue Meanies'. I like his use of mixed media, and vintage photos. Usually illustrators try and crowbar in quirky vintage photos and ephemera to try and make their work look more interesting, Ben however, utilises them in a way which is considered and with purpose. Resulting in humorous pastille pastiches.
