I first discovered Nate's work in early 2004 and was immediatley awe struck by his style and expression. On a whim, I sent him an email about a concept I had and wanted him to illustrate. I had nothing to offer but gratitude and a couple of free art prints of the design. Not only to did he indulge my wishes, he turned it around in less than two weeks time. The limited-edition print was called Monkey Bomb and has since turned into a t-shirt.

For this site, I reached out to Nate again... and this time, he obliged with an intimate peak into his daily sketchbook.
